We are seeking a reliable and target-driven Van Salesman (Foodstuff) responsible for selling, delivering, and promoting FMCG and agricultural food products to retail outlets, groceries, cafeterias, and customers within assigned routes in Dubai and surrounding regions. The role involves direct van sales, stock management, cash handling, customer relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to ensure consistent product availability and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell and deliver foodstuff and FMCG products directly from the company van
- Develop new customers and expand business within assigned routes
- Follow scheduled routes and visit groceries, cafeterias, and retail outlets
- Maintain strong relationships, handle customer concerns, and introduce new products
- Collect payments, manage invoices, and monitor stock rotation and availability
- Meet daily, monthly, and annual sales targets
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand
- Submit daily sales and route reports
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company van
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and customer support
- Support warehouse operations and operate basic tools when required
- Assist with shipment clearance activities when assigned
- Use basic computer tools and attend Google Meet / Zoom meetings
Required Qualifications
- High school or diploma preferred; higher qualifications welcome
- 1–2 years of experience in van sales, FMCG, retail, or outdoor sales in the UAE
- Strong communication and basic negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Malayalam
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and invoicing
- Valid UAE Manual Driving License (Type 3 or 6) – Mandatory
- Candidate must be currently based in Dubai
Desired Skills
- Experience in foodstuff, rice, grains, and agricultural commodity sales
- Good knowledge of retail routes and customer handling
- Understanding of stock rotation, cash handling, and invoicing
- Awareness of market trends and competitor activities
- Customer-focused attitude and problem-solving skills
Note
- Salary: Basic Salary + Commission (based on Dubai experience)
- Interview: Face-to-face interview at Warehouse Office, Dubai Investment Park – 2 (DIP-2)
